The Complete History of Goatcheese
Well, well, well. You are now reading the 4th edition of my site, and by now, u know that im not going to hold back on the truth.
Goat cheese began back in Italy, around the turn of the century. The 14th century, that is. A young man by the name of Marciello Bentaliona was working in the fields of his cranberry farm, when he noticed a young goat, by the name of Sally, giving birth to 8 children- Ezekial, Jorge, Marco, Bentillo, Sergio, Yoko, Marco II, and Michaelionanda.. in that order. Obviously, Sally was lactating, as do most goats during the period from when the goats are born, until they are bucking kids, out playing the guitar and taking crazy pills with their friends. Sally's utters, filled with the milk of 8 children, were to the point of bursting. Marciello, being the kind animal lover that he was, decided to milk his newly found friend. However, to Marciello's horrific surprise, a creamy, thick substance protruded from her utters of life. Apparantly, the milk had been fermenting so long that it turned into cheese.
Well unfortunetly, a man was standing in a nearby bush and copied Marciello's encounter in his book that he had with him. The man in the bushes, Jorgissimo, began breeding goats, inseminating a single mother goat many times, creating many kids. He collected the goat cheese, as he called it, into small glass jars, and sold it for pure profit!
